Hush

About

Hush is a small tool with a narrow job.

We built Hush because we couldn't find a tinnitus masker that was genuinely free, respected your data, and worked in the browser without a signup wall. So here it is.

How to use it

Open the player, tap Start (browsers require a tap to make sound), drag the pitch until the tone sits on your tinnitus, then mix in noise until you feel calmer. Save what works.

What it doesn't do

No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no payments, no community. If you want any of that, this isn't the tool.

Where the data lives

In your browser. Presets and session history use local storage on this device. Nothing leaves your machine.

When to see a professional

If your tinnitus is new, sudden, one-sided, or paired with hearing loss, dizziness, or ear pain — see an audiologist or ENT. Hush is a comfort tool, not a diagnosis.

Not a medical device.

Hush is a self-serve sound-masking tool, not a treatment. If your tinnitus is new, sudden, one-sided, or paired with hearing loss, dizziness, or pain, please see a hearing professional or doctor. Start at a low volume — sound therapy should feel comfortable, never intrusive.

Ready to give it a try?

Two minutes is usually enough to feel a difference.
